Screening « Nothing works anymore »Screening « Nothing works anymore » A program of photographic films in connection with the thematic of Play & Replay. Anne Immelé, artistic director of the Biennale, has brought together some promising or already established young artists. Students at HEAR – Haute école des arts du Rhin, have been offered carte blanche by la Galerie T66, Freiburg, Stimultania and La Chambre, Strasbourg which present the young photographers in the framework of the program Perspectives. This projection showcases some of the issues and perspectives in post-photographic practice. The projected photographic films consider the changes taking place in contemporary society, showing territories in transformation, from personal photographic practice, but which may also draw from the stream of existing images or may be derived from borrowing, appropriation and a play on meaning or by editing techniques. Certain photographers play and replay the photographic instant, because Play & Replay implies the notion of repetition and differentiation and of anachronism.
